Established in 1973, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Barrackpore (Army) is a premier educational institution, set in a sylvan setting with a sprawling school building that houses a well stocked library, modern laboratories in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, Computer laboratories with internet connections and a well-maintained sports field.
Over the years, the Vidyalaya has grown from strength to strength in Academics, Sports, Adventure Sports, Scouts & Guides and cultural spheres. The Vidyalaya boasts of an alumni that have established themselves as Doctors, Engineers, Artists, Social Workers, Service Personnel who have dedicated themselves to the service of the nation.
Kendriya Vidyalaya, Barrackpore (Army), like all KV's, promotes national integration by providing quality education to children from all sections of society.
