CLUSTER LEVEL COMPETITIONS UNDER CMP

(BARRACKPORE CLUSTER)

REPORT

Cluster level competitions under CMP was held in KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA, BARRACKPORE (ARMY) on 06.12.2008. Following Vidyalayas of Barrackpore Cluster have participated :

1. KV, Barrackpore(Army)

2. KV, Barrackpore(AFS)

3. KV No. 1, Ishapore

4. KV No. 2, Ishapore

5. KV, Kankinara

6. KV No. 1, Kanchrapara

7. KV No. 1, Kanchrapara

Total 154 students have participated from the above KVs.

All the participants and escorting teachers of KV, Barrackpore cluster reported at 7.30 am on 6.12.08 and were provided breakfast.

The inauguration ceremony started at 8.00 am with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Mrs. D. Talapatra, Ex-HM, the guest of Honour, Mrs. S. Chandra, Principal and Mr. P. N. Mishra, H.M.

It was followed by welcome speech of the Principal and a short Cultural programme was presented by the students. Grand Parents of the participants were cordially invited to enjoy and encourage the children. They also witnessed the competitions.

CCA and Sport competitions began simultaneously from 8.45 am as per programme schedule.

In CCA, English Recitation, Hindi Recitation, English Story telling and Hindi Story telling of Group-A and Group-B was held from 8.45 am to 9.45 am. at different classrooms simultaneously. The Group Dance Competition was held on the stage of the playground from 10.00 to 11.00 am It was followed by action song competition from 11.00 to 12.00 noon.

The names of position holders were announced at 12.15 pm.

In sports, competitions were held in 50 metres Dash, Long Jump, Broad Jump, Cricket Ball Throw and Kho-Kho.

The names of the position holders were announced at 1.15 pm.

The cluster level CMP competitions ended with the speech of the Guest of Honour and the vote of thanks by H.M.

The children were relieved after they enjoyed the hot steaming lunch.
